Canoe Adventure from Sjöhuset (Day trip)

This popular day trip begins at Yttermalungs Camping at 10:00, where you receive your equipment before being transported to Sjöhuset, located on one of the nearby lakes. From there, you’ll spend a peaceful day canoeing across calm, glassy waters surrounded by forested hills and serene landscapes.

Unlike river paddling, this lake tour is circular or one-directional across still waters, allowing for easier navigation and more time to relax. Along the shores, you’ll find small coves, picnic-friendly beaches, and perhaps even a good spot for a refreshing swim. The route is ideal for nature photography, quiet conversations, and simply taking in the Swedish wilderness.

The trip ends around 15:00 when a shuttle picks you up and brings you back to the campsite. The package includes the canoe, life jackets, paddles, and transport—making it an easy and enjoyable outing for anyone.
