Hildasholm, Leksand

Guided tours through a perfectly preserved early-1900s home and a stroll through ten themed gardens overlooking Siljan. Open June to August; the café in the garden does a proper fika. 25 minutes by car.

Tours run a few times a day in summer — check the times before you drive over, and combine with Leksands kyrka next door. The gardens take a relaxed hour; the lake view from the lower terrace is our favourite spot.
